The job - what you’d be working on
The Project Manager is essential in bringing projects from start to finish. With a strong focus on customer needs, we aim to deliver results through close collaboration between the Netadmin team and the customer.
We seek a motivated and passionate person who excels at problem-solving in a team and enjoys creating great things as part of a group someone who strives to improve daily and values having fun along the way.
Our project management model is based on our extensive experience delivering software to the fiber market.
The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
The project management:
To ensure the project is progressing as planned, you should be the one following the time plan and budget and continuously reporting to the customer. This requires a lot of communication and interaction with both the internal team and the customer, as well as keeping track of the activities in progress.
Cooperation and team building activities:
As a Project Manager, you work closely with our solution architects and developers to deliver projects to our customers. This work requires a high level of internal cooperation within Netadmin to ensure that our team works together towards the common goal of successful delivery, and with the customer to achieve that same goal. Discussing with the product management, sales, and marketing teams is essential as part of the job.
Presale:
As a Project Manager, you must also work on processes that precede the projects start to ensure it has the right prerequisites. We want to be involved as early as possible in the solution presented and the estimations communicated to customers.
You will also work closely with customers to identify needs and sales opportunities, and translate those insights into concrete upsell or expansion initiatives.
Skills and competences
Must have
Proven experience planning and delivering projects, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Experience managing project budgets and tracking financial performance.
Ability to identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to act as the primary interface between project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Ability to clearly communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience monitoring project progress, tracking deliverables, and adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
Comfortable reporting project status, risks, and performance to senior management.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and align project objectives with team capabilities and resources.
Experience ensuring project deliverables meet defined quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Ability to evaluate completed projects, identify lessons learned, and improve processes for future engagements.
Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) – mandatory
Meritorious
Experience working with implemented software systems, either as a customer or supplier.
Knowledge of the fiber network / telecom industry.
Experience supporting presales activities, such as solution discussions, estimations, or project scoping.
German – spoken and written (strong bonus).
Swedish – spoken and written (nice to have).
